Continuing Parcelvoy's Mission
A few weeks ago, Parcelvoy was archived. It was a straightforward, self-hosted marketing automation platform—multi-channel (email, SMS, push, webhooks), with a visual journey builder that fit the needs of SaaS applications really well. Effective without trying to be everything to everyone.
The community that grew around it deserves a place to continue. That’s what Lunogram is here for.
Introducing Lunogram
We’re picking up where Parcelvoy left off—the codebase, the community, and all. But this isn’t just a maintenance fork. We’re taking the time to look hard at the architectural decisions the project has made, with the goal of setting things up properly for the years to come.
We’re working on a new architecture built from the ground up to handle what modern SaaS applications actually need. One of the first decisions we made was moving from Node.js and MySQL to Go and PostgreSQL—industry standards with strong community and industry backing.
What we’re actually working on
We’re heads down on the new architecture right now, working towards a fresh release of the project. Stability is always a focus, and starting fresh gives us the opportunity to make changes that simply wouldn’t have been possible otherwise.
We have a lot of ideas we’re eager to explore and we’d love for you to be part of shaping the direction. Join the discussion on GitHub and share what you’d like to see, what you’ve been missing, and what’s worked well for you.
Get involved
If Parcelvoy was useful to you, or if you’ve been looking for a self-hosted alternative to the Iterable/Braze tier of tools, we’d love to have you involved.
We’re early, but we’re serious. Parcelvoy deserved better than being archived, and we intend to make good on that.
